Rural Michigan Appathon
Help us Design content for the MI Healthy Mom (MI MOM) App

What is an Appathon?

An appathon is an event where people work on designing an app together for a dedicated period of time.

  • The rural Appathon is a virtual event for Michigan residents that live in northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula (Southern boundary: Midland)

  • No coding or programming skills are necessary, just familiarity and access to a computer with stable internet.

  • Teams can work on their content for 6 weeks.

  • Software training and expert consultations will be available to help.

  • Grading will be done by (1) a panel of expert judges and (2) a group of volunteer testers.

Prizes

The winning team will split $5000.

All other participants who submit content for judging will receive a small gift.
