Help us Design the MI Healthy Mom (MI MOM) App

We believe the best apps are designed with people who use them. ​

  • Moms, people who have been pregnant, and those close to them are strongly encouraged to participate.

  • No coding experience is required, just access to a computer and stable internet connection.

  • We are looking for two groups: (1) those who live in the Flint Metro Area and (2) those who live in northern, rural Michigan (north of Mt Pleasant and Midland). 

There are Two Ways to Participate:

Develop Content for the
MI Healthy Mom App

Participate in an Appathon to help us include your voices and real experiences. Winning teams will earn a top prize of $5,000! All other competitors will receive a gift. 

The Flint Appathon is currently underway. The winners will be announced on July 16, 2024. 

​​ Registration for the Rural Appathon is now open. The competition runs TBD, 2024.

Rate Content & Help Decide
the Winning Team

Test and rank the Appathon submissions to help us make sure the content is useful, respectful, and engaging. All testers will receive a $25 gift card.

We are currently looking for Flint Appathon Testers. Apply by June 25, 2024. 

Applications for Rural Appathon Testers will open on TBD 2024.
